What To Expect
Root + Return is a practice of remembering.

Not who you used to be.
Not who you think you should be.

But who you are beneath the noise, the pressure, the pace.

Through trauma-informed, embodied yoga, we work with the body to slow down, listen, and notice.

Because healing doesn’t come from pushing harder.
It comes from learning how to stay.
Why Trauma-Informed?
Trauma-informed means we recognize that all bodies carry experience.

Big “T” trauma.
Small “t” trauma.
Chronic stress.
A life lived in a culture that rarely slows down.

This practice is designed to support:
-
Nervous system regulation
-
A sense of safety in the body
-
Reconnection to inner cues and boundaries

What To Expect
This is not about performance.
It is not about flexibility or getting it “right.”

You can expect:
-
Gentle, guided movement
-
Space to move at your own pace
-
Language that invites choice and autonomy
-
Moments of rest and reflection
-
A practice that meets you where you are
You are allowed to modify.
You are allowed to pause.
You are allowed to listen to yourself.
This is For You
This is for you if—

You feel overwhelmed, burned out, or stretched too thin.

You’ve lost connection with yourself in the pace of daily life.

You’re moving through a transition and don’t know what comes next.

You’re seeking a slower, more sustainable way of being.
Or simply—
You want space to breathe, listen, and return to what matters.
